WYRE Forest Company of Archers took the team prize at the Stourbridge CA Annual Albion tournament.

Shooting nine dozen arrows at 80, 60 and 50 yards, Martin Preece finished second in the Gents Recurve with a total score of 835.

He was supported by Daniel Finn (sixth, 764), Dave Brazier (seventh, 759), Richard Wilkes (13th, 702) and Nigel Turner (16th, 628).

In the Ladies Recurve, Melissa Smallman won with a total score of 709 points and Lindsey Brazier took second spot in the Ladies Compound with a score of 918, which included 84 golds from 108 hits.

In the Windsor rounds at shooting distances of 60, 50 and 40 yards, Martin Burbridge won the Gents Recurve with a score of 664 and Angela Burbridge finished runner-up in the Ladies Recurve with 372 points.

Shirley Cawte topped the Ladies Compound with 761 points and there was a win for Pat Preece in the Ladies Longbow with 177 points.

In the junior Windsor round, Lauren Turner placed second (838pts) and Freya Palmer scored 824.
