Vanes seals Wyre Forest title
CYCLING: Steve Vanes produced another dominant display to secure Wyre Forest CRC’s midweek time trial championship.
With the 12 best scores from the 20-round series to count, Vanes' latest victory has given him a maximum of 600 points.
Runner-up in last week’s race earned second place in the championship for Jon Howard, but with Andy Overton picking up valuable points and Stuart Walker on marshalling duties, the race for third place in the championship will go to the wire at the final round.
