Harriers have added yet another new face to their ranks on the eve of the clash with Macclesfield Town with the signing of bustling striker Callum Hassan.
A former Hartlepool United man, Callum has been in training with his new team mates and signs non contract forms to join the club ahead of the clash with the Silkmen.
Powerfully built and standing 6ft 4, Callum spent much of his early career in the north, featuring for United along with, on loan, Harrogate and Blyth Spartans among others.
After leaving Hartlepool three years ago, the youngster has struggled to nail down a footballing home and even took a break from the game altogether to pursue outside interests including boxing.
However he returned to the scene in the summer and enjoyed a trial with League 2 giants Portsmouth.
He’s been handed a place in the Harriers ranks after his impressive performances in training, with Football Development Director, Colin Gordon, saying: “He’s made a big impact and we’ve been impressed with his attitude, which has been fantastic.
“He’s a big presence up front and a target man, something which we don’t already have here; he’s young and enthusiastic and we’re looking forward to getting a close look at him.”
