BEWDLEY Town boss Phil Mullen admitted to being unconcerned about his side's position after the Ribbesford Meadow club slipped into the bottom four of the West Midlands League Premier Division.
Matters weren't helped when Bewdley had Saturday's game against Bilston Town Community called off owing to a waterlogged pitch.
Mullen said: "We managed to get away with it last week, but the weather was so bad this time, we couldn't even get on the pitch to do any work.
"We did some drainage improvements on the pitch during the summer, but it's the location that proves the big problem.
"As to our league position, I'm not at all concerned because we're better than our position suggests and a better side than some of the teams above us.
"We're training twice a week and working hard to put things right and bring out the best in the players."
Bewdley were due to visit Bromyard Town this week in a West Midlands League Cup match before travelling to title contenders AFC Bridgnorth on Saturday.
