MATT Neal won the third race for Pershore’s Halfords Yuasa Racing in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship meeting at Donington Park.
Motorbase Performance’s Mat Jackson and Team JCT600 Racing with GardX’s Rob Collard also enjoyed race successes, but the Hondas took a commanding one-two in the finale as Neal was the sixth different winner this season.
Reigning champion Gordon Shedden was second and the duo lead the drivers’ standings.
Halfords head the teams’ table by 22 points and Honda top the manufacturers’/constructors’ list.
After missing out on the top 10 in the first race, Shedden was fourth in race two and Neal sixth with Evesham’s Rob Austin, of Handy Motorsport, 10th.
Austin was then eighth in the third race.
Neal, who lives near Kidderminster in Shenstone, said: “It was great to come away with a one-two finish and it being my home circuit makes it even sweeter. To leave still leading the championship is the perfect outcome.”
