FIVE Stourport Boat Club crews set off to Devon last weekend to take part in the Head of the Dart – one of the longest Head races in the country.

This event is not just about the winning but for many it is the challenge of taking part in the 14 kilometre race from Dartmouth to Totnes.

Even with the conditions being problematic at times with a strong North wind blowing down the course, all crews performed well with Stourport winning the Masters E4+, Masters C8, Women’s C4+ and the Masters C4- events.
