KIDDERMINSTER Harriers' football development under-11s returned home from the ESF Festival of Football at Butlins Minehead as Champions.

The team were presented with the trophy by John Barnes and Casey Stoney.

Their victory means they automatically qualify for the ESF Grand Finale, taking place in July at St George’s Park.

Harriers will be competing for the U11s crown against the best of over 1,200 participating teams competing in ESF 2016.

Jamie Gardiner from Kidderminster Harriers FDC said: “Going on tour to ESF always guarantees a great time, and this year was no different.

"Thanks to the organisers and to Butlins for hosting us, they helped create a memorable experience for all the kids.

"We put in some top quality team performances and we’ll savour this victory for some time!

“To be crowned ESF Champions in the U11 tournament and to be presented the trophy by John Barnes and Casey Stoney was a fantastic way to finish the season, the boys are already counting down the days to the ESF Grand Finale!”
