KIDDERMINSTER’S Sally Moon was in great form as she won gold at the Commonwealth Judo Championships.
Competitors from 35 nations of the Commonwealth gathered together in Port Elizabeth.
Five Continental Unions had countries represented with a total of 185 players competing for the 56 medals and England came out on top of the medals table.
Moon represented England in the senior women under-78 kilogram category and was successful in defeating all the opposition to take the gold medal, including Kur Rajwinder from India who took the silver and Van Blerk Alicia from South Africa who collected the bronze.
