JUNIORS from Wyre Forest SC took part in the Stourbridge sprint meet in Wolverhampton.

The meet is graded to allow novice and inexperienced swimmers to compete in a friendly atmosphere and has pre-set time limits so that those going too fast for a junior meet are issued with speeding tickets.

Twenty-seven members took part in the competition, with over 85 per cent of all the swims across the squad recorded as personal best.

There were four first places for Wyre Forest swimmers, with victories for Alex Hayes in the 50m breaststroke and 50m freestyle, Erin Freer in the 50m butterfly and Poppy Stant in the 50m backstroke.
