MADDISON Moore emerged triumphant at the WUKF World Karate Championships in Dublin.
The 21-year-old, who is a senior instructor in Redstar Karate, was competing in the 18 to 35 age category.
The championships welcomed 2,200 competitors last month but the Kidderminster fighter was unfazed her the size of her task as she came through five tough bouts.
Moore, who also fights in the under-55 kilogram section, took on a series of heavier opponents in the open weight section and after a series of gruelling battles clinched gold by defeating an opponent from Romania.
She is also the top ranked English fighter in the WUKF and IKU governing bodies. The success in Ireland is just one of the many wins Moore has experienced over the last six years.
She won team gold in the 15-17 age section in Brazil in 2010, a year later she won European gold in the team section.
Moore, who is studying at De Montford University, also secured individual silverware, taking World silver in Italy in 2013 and then going up a level to earn golds in 2015 and 2016.
