IMPRESSIVE Kidderminster made it seven wins in nine games as they produced another emphatic display to sink West Bromwich Dartmouth on Saturday.

Dartmouth won the toss and after electing to field they made a breakthrough when captain Matt Pardoe was caught by Dan Bassett off the bowling of Aaron Patel.

Jonathan Wright, amongst the runs in recent games, joined Nathan Round and soon had the scoreboard working overtime.

They had a stand of 130 inside 30 overs when Round (71) was out caught by Rawlston Tappin, bowled Kadeer Ali.

Neil Pinner joined Wright, but only 13 were added when Wright (66) fell leg before to Kabir Ali.

Michael Hill came to the crease and he and Pinner unleashed a savage attack on the Dartmouth bowling.

By the time the fourth wicket fell 140 runs had been scored in 13 overs.

Pinner had reached 56 when Graham Beer took a return catch.

Hill had scored 80 but was increasing the run-rate with some great batting, but with the score on 347 he was stumped by keeper Ruki De Silva off the bowling of Kadeer Ali.

Hill, a Staffordshire county batsman, had scored 116 off 55 balls, hitting 13 fours and seven sixes.

Richard Kimberlin (11) was not out, but Liam Weston had been bowled first ball by Kadeer Ali.

The last 10 overs had seen 146 runs scored, with 46 boundaries in the whole of the innings. The pick of the bowlers, Kadeer Ali, took 3-67 from eight overs.

On a very good batting wicket, West Bromwich lost five wickets for 102 runs by the 30th over, with Worcestershire’s Chris Russell in particular bowling well.

Ali (11) was bowled by Russell, who then removed Basset (6), while Amit John (18) was stumped by Tom Kimberlin off the bowling of Liam Weston and then Tappin (9) was caught by Hill bowled Gareth Williams.

De Silva (4) was out leg before to Pardoe, before Russell took the next two wickets as he dismissed Kabir Ali (5) and then Fahim Jan lbw for a first ball duck.

Hill showed he could bowl as well as bat and dismissed both Aaron Patel (0) and Graham Beer (9) with lbw decisions as Kidderminster dismissed West Brom for 187.
