HARRIERS boss John Eustace has spoken of his pride after his side matched league leaders AFC Fylde.

The sides drew 3-3 in a thrilling encounter at Aggborough yesterday.

Harriers led twice through Arthur Gnahoura and Elton Ngwatala but were pegged back before eventually going behind.

However, defender Keith Lowe netted late on to make sure the spoils were shared.

Eustace said: "It was a good game and I'm delighted with the point in the end. I couldn't be more proud of the boys.

"I thought they worked their socks off from minute one because they were up against a very good, experienced team.

"It's good that we are recognised for doing some good stuff but that is what I want to bring to the club. I want us to be a team that is going to be together for the next three years and that is why our squad is very young. At times we played some fantastic stuff but at times we were very naive as well. It's all about learning and that is what this group is doing every week. We're learning every time we go out there.

"It was a tough game. Even if we'd have lost I'd have been very proud of the performance of the lads, especially to get the equaliser from Lowe at the end."

One big talking point from the contest was Mani Dieseruvwe's effort that wasn't given despite claims the ball had crossed the line.

Dieseruvwe slid in to try to convert a low cross by sub Andre Brown on 83 minutes with Harriers still 3-2 down at the time. But the ball was hacked clear amid a goalmouth scramble and the referee quickly waved away the home side's claims.

"I can't see it from where I am but Mani says it has gone in," added Eustace. "But he also got that goal a couple of weeks ago that I don't think he touched so as a striker he's going to be claiming that! Overall I thought it was a fair result."
