Wyre Forest head coach, John Dougall, said: "It is always encouraging to watch the next wave of swimmers represent the club in any arena and this was great exposure to the competitive environment for these up and coming talents. The format of the meet is focused on shorter distances which brought about some really gutsy swims from our youngsters.

"Further encouragement was taken from the high placed finishes from many of our team, with numerous gold, silver and bronze medals being won, not to mention the high number of personal best swims achieved. I was not only impressed by these feats, but also by the willingness of the swimmers to attempt new racing strategies."
