WYRE Forest Swimming Club members were once again among the medals at the last session of the Worcester County Championships Finals.

The club had a total of 27 qualifiers, with half of those finishing in the top ten in the county in one or more of their swims.

Wyre Forest head coach, John Dougall, said: "Another great weekend of competing, following the hugely successful block we had the previous weekend.

"I was yet again very impressed with how the swimmers improved from heats into finals, picking up personal best times along with medals in their swims.

"Across the board it’s comforting to see the hard work and skills we’ve been working on paying off. There’s still a long way to go but things look very positive for the future."
