A SECOND half double sealed victory for Stourport Hockey Club's ladies which keeps them top of the Investec Conference West League.

Lora Symonds opened the scoring in the fifteenth minute in the 3-0 win over Exe at the Kingsway.

Shortly after the start of the second half Symonds added a second before Claire Pearson added a third from a penalty corner on 50 minutes.

The ladies are at home again this weekend when they entertain Buckingham, with a late 6pm hit back.

Amy Miller and Kerry Walker netted for Stourport ladies second XI on Saturday away at Olton but it was not enough to prevent a 3-2 defeat.

They were in action again on Sunday away at Edgbaston, the match ended 1-1, Olivia Laight got the goal for Stourport.

The ladies third XI lost both of their Worcestershire 3rd Division matches 2-0 at the weekend, away at Pershore and at home to Worcester's second XI.

The ladies fourth XI won against near neighbours Kidderminster 5-2, in the Worcestershire Division 2 thanks to goals from Teresa Moss, Lousie Marshall, Cara Nyamekye, and a brace from Lucy McLoughlin.

Meanwhile the ladies fifth XI lost 2-0, to their hosts Droitwich seconds in the Worcestershire third division, their goalscorer was Rosie Connolly.

Stourport men's first XI lost 4-1 to Notts University in their Warwick Printing Midland League Midlands Premier match.

The men's fourths continued their winning streak with a 1-0 victory over Olton in the West Midlands Premier League, Rob Lashford got the decisive goal.
