STOURPORT Swifts are celebrating after winning the Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup last Saturday.

Swifts overcame Littleton on penalties in the final at Malvern Town’s Langland Stadium.

They came out on top with a thrilling 7-6 success on penalties after the match had ended 2-2 after 90 minutes, with Swifts twice coming from behind with goals from Matt Fulloway and Dan Sweeney.

Paul Hurrell stepped up to win the cup with the decisive penalty.

The win marks a successful end to the campaign for manager Mark Phillips' men after they had hit form at just the right time to edge themselves away from the Midland Football League Premier Division dropzone.
