KIDDERMINSTER will be boosted by the return of Matt Pardoe, George Hatfield and James Kinder for their key clash at Dorridge.

Second-from-bottom KCC take on the team directly above them in the Birmingham and District Premier Division this Saturday (noon start).

The trio have not played since the win over Barnt Green last month but return at a vital time.

Kidderminster suffered their third successive defeat when losing by four wickets at home to Wolverhampton last Saturday but are aiming for a big win this weekend.

Captain Neil Pinner said: "It's a massive game for us.

"We were targeting a win last weekend against Wolverhampton so this game now becomes even more important.

"If we can get the win it would give us a big swing with Dorridge and hopefully give us something to build on as well.

"We simply have to start winning games now.

"The players that are returning give us a massive boost. They will hopefully strengthen our middle order and help us to a big score."

However, KCC will be without the injured Pat Brown against Dorridge.

Against Wolverhampton, Kidderminster made 235-7 from their 55 overs after losing the toss and being put into bat.

Openers Andrew Kimberlin (32) and Charlie Stainforth (28) made a decent start before Pinner's 66. Richard Kimberlin top scored with 70.

In reply, Wolverhampton opener Matthew Kleinveldt hit an unbeaten 86 to help guide his side home with the help of number five Aneesh Kapil 75.

A frustrating moment for the hosts saw Kleinveldt caught at slip off a no ball as they game just got away from from once more.

"We started well again, gave ourselves a solid foundation but then couldn't build on that," added Pinner. "We lost too many wickets in the middle overs.

"If we could have got their opener then it might have been different."
