COOKLEY look set to finish as Worcestershire County League runners-up after their game against Worcester was abandoned.
The Villagers were on 48-3 off 12.2 overs when rain prevented further play while frontrunners Redditch secured the necessary points to secure the title.
Cookley will end their season with a match against relegated Droitwich.
Cookley's second XI were reduced to ten players but still bagged a win, against Wormelow seconds.
The 12-run victory secured promotion, their fixture next week against Droitwich seconds will be championship decider in the second teams division.
Elsewhere Cookley's thirds won the Saturday Division 6/7 Cup after beating Ombersley 3s in a bowl off.
The rain-hit final featured the oldest batting partnership in Cookley CC history between sexagenarians Ian Roberts (64) 56 and Phil Dixon (63) 35.
