WOLVERLEY Athletic were too strong for Norton Greyhound and ran out 8-1 winners.

Josh Evans opened the scoring, before Ant Phillips piled though the middle of the pack for the best goal of the game.

Norton’s attempts to reply were shot down by strikes from Nick Griffin, Doug Marshall and Tom Wassle.

Gavin Wright once again ran the midfield, while Mark Allen re-invented himself as a major threat, rolling back the years to orchestrate Wolverley.
