Cracking performances from TRiKS

Triathlets from Kidderminster-based club TRiKS produced some cracking performances this week.

Durable Ian Dickens gruelled it out at The Tenby Ironman by completing a 3.8-kilometre swim, 180km bike ride and then a marathon to clock an impressive 11 hours 47 minutes.

Two TRiKS members made their debuts at the Henley Half Ironman which comprised of a 1.9km swim, 83km bike ride and then a half-marathon.

Jason Dimmock completed what proved a testing course in 5.08 while Mark Phillips was timed at 5.39.

Tony Muir contested a European age-group qualifier at the Rother Valley Sprint Triathlon.

He came a creditable 10th place after completing a 750 metres swim, 20km bike ride and 5km run in 1.22.59.
