Men and women secure third spot

A TEAM from Kidderminster and Stourport AC finished third in the latest round of the Midlands League Division Six.

The women's team finished in third place, while the men finished a very competitive group in fourth.

James Colclough was one of the club's best performers, securing third place in the 400 metres A race.

Rhys Pritchard was runner-up in the 100m hurdles A and won the 400m hurdles A race.

Ben Danvers was runner-up in the 5000m A and 2000m steeple chase A races.

Jeannette Richardson finished third in the 1500m A race, while Hillary Crook came third in the 3000m A.

Alex Bayliss won the high jump and secured third in the long jump A events.

Melanie Roberts came second in the shot putt A and hammer A and finished third in the discus.
