Fans edge Stoke

FOOTBALL: Harriers fans team edged out Stoke City’s supporters side 4-3.

In the first-half, the home team defended well but lacked a cutting edge and it was Stoke who took the lead with a stunning goal from the edge of the area.

In the second-half, the hosts exerted more pressure going forward with Dave Owen, and own goal and Ryan Cooper giving Harriers a comfortable lead.

However, the visitors fought back and reduced the arrears before an error by goalkeeper Brett Caufield allowed Stoke to equaliser.

In the dying minutes though Dave Owen headed home the winner.

The team tackles Burton’s fans side away on Saturday.
