Bletcher calls for repeat display
8:00am Friday 8th February 2013 in Sport
KIDDERMINSTER Carolians’ squad players will get another chance to shine as injuries and absences take their toll ahead of Saturday’s Midlands Two West (South) clash at Newbold.
The third-placed side will be without captain Stu Such (knee) and Rob Phillips (arm) for the away trip.
They will already miss Andy McLellan, Ben Turner and Tom Maher, who were all nursing knocks and missed last weekend’s fine win over Bedworth.
Winger Arthur Chiverton, who is based in Taunton, also is a doubt because of transport issues.
Bletcher said: “It’s going to be really interesting when we get all our players back because I think we’ve demonstrated we’ve got strength in depth.
“We’re down to the bare bones at Newbold and we’ll need to show the same grit and determination we did at Bedworth.
“It won’t be an easy game, Newbold are strong at home and judging by reports I have read they are playing well.”
