WOLVERLEY-based Eclipse Martial Arts Club had their best result ever as Emma-Jayne Morris beat all comers to win her category at the WAKO British Championships.
The nine-year-old claimed the under-10s 37 kilogram category at Cocks Moor Woods Leisure Centre in Birmingham.
Emma-Jayne has been invited to take part in squad training sessions with WAKO in the hope of being included as part of Team GB in September.
Master Will Jennings said: “She is an amazing athlete who always gives 100 per cent in everything she does.”
The junior fighter’s next big event is in April, when she and six-year-old Callum Hawkins from Eclipse are both appearing at a full contact show in Cardiff.
