CHRIS Seekings marked his return to Bewdley Town with a hat-trick as they hammered Dudley Sports 6-1 on Tuesday night in the West Midlands Division One.

Seekings returned to his old club after playing most of the season for Stourport Swifts.

The winger made an immediate impact as his searing pace saw him get in behind Dudley’s defence on countless occasions.

Little brother Jon also hit the back of the net, while Robbie Orme scored a contender for goal of the season with a stunning 25-yard volley.

Joint manager Craig Payton said: “It was great to have Chris back.

“He’s so quick he was playing as an extra forward and not in midfield.

“He just wants to play football and we’re hoping he’ll stay until the end of the season.

“I’ve also got to say Robbie Orme’s goal was something special.”

Victory came on the back of a 2-1 win over Pershore last week, which saw Town book their place in the Worcestershire Infirmary Cup semi-final.

Alex Lavery scored and Luke Towler, back from working in Turkey, bagged the winner.
