WYRE Forest Phoenix made it back-to-back wins in the West Midlands League after seeing off Solihull Reserves 3-0 on Sunday.
Kirsty Jones, Melissa Zaffino and Vicky Hyde all pounced in the second half.
Meanwhile, Phoenix produced an encouraging display despite losing 3-1 to Bartestree 3-1 in theHereford and Worcester Girls and Women’s County League.
After going down 10-2 to the same team earlier in the season, Phoenix were keen start well and Melissa Knott fired them ahead.
But Bartestree hit back with two goals before the break, while an effort in the second half was harsh on their endeavours.
The under-9s were 4-0 winners at Droitwich Spa, with Rose Lawley bagging an impressive four goal haul
Forest’s under-13s drew 2-2 with WVFC Wild Kittens.
They had fallen behind early in the first half, before strikes by Abigail Lawson and Lucy McLatchy fired Phoenix ahead.
An error allowed the home side to ensure it was honours even in the second half.
The under-14 travelled to Withymore Colts but lost in their first game for many weeks 2-0.
Wyre Forest Phoenix’s under-17s produced one of their best performances of the season, despite losing 2-0 at Wordsley Wasps.
They had dominated possession but were edged out in the cup.
