FORMER Ginetta G50 Cup Champion Nathan Freke will return to the driving seat in a Harrier GT1 alongside the car’s owner Ian Stinton for four rounds of the 2014 Britcar Endurance Championship.

The pair previously raced together for the first time at the Silverstone round of the 2013 British GT Championship in Stinton’s Ginetta G55 GT3 and were comfortably running inside the top five before a mechanical problem forced their retirement.

“I’m delighted to be back with Ian this year,” said Kidderminster born Freke.

“We got on really well last year and the team are a really good bunch of guys to be around.

“We were unlucky in Silverstone but Ian and I have remained in touch since then and I’m so happy that we’ve been able to put a deal together for four rounds of the Britcar Endurance Championship.”

The 2014 Britcar Endurance Championship starts at Silverstone on Saturday.
