WYRE Forest Phoenix Ladies defeated Redditch 4-1 despite only having ten players.

Kirsty Roberts opened the scoring before captain Kat Meredith doubled their lead.

United pulled one back just before half-time but a brace by Chelsea Mudge secured victory.

The ladies play their final game on Sunday at home to Crusaders (2pm KO).

The under-12s edged out Droitwich Spa Ravens 1-0 with Jessica Jenkins scoring.

The under-14s hammered Fazeley Town Phoenix 6-4, with Connor Reeves (2), Georgia Akers (2), Kayleigh Daglish and Kitty Morgan on target.

The club, one of the largest in the county, are always looking for new players.

They are currently running under-9s,10s, 11s,13s,14s, 15s and 18s teams and are keen to create under-12s and 16s sides.

They also run two ladies teams competing at county and regional level.
