ARELEY Kings are set to celebrate their 40th anniversary with a series of matches and special events at their Minster Road home on Saturday.
The club have organised a six team invitational knockout tournament with the winners picking up the Areley Kings FA Cup.
Preceding this tournament will be a very commemorative special game between the original 1974 Under-14s team and our current Under-14s.
The founding players have been enthusiastically dusting down their boots for this commemorative game, many of these original players still live in the Stourport area and keep in touch with the club they started 40 years ago The special game kicks-off at 12.30pm, followed by the tournament.
The club will host a World Cup camping weekend and a birthday ball this summer.
