SUPERB Cookley booked their place in the area final of the National Village Cup after seeing off Rushwick by eight wickets on Sunday.
The Wyre Forest side will go to Bredon on June 8 for the right to move to the national stages.
Rushwick were asked to bat first, but made only 91 thanks to wily veteran Gary Mills (3-13) off nine overs.
Adam Nicholls polished off the tail with four wickets for ten runs.
In reply, the Villagers wobbled at 10-2 but Paul Thomas’ 54 not out got them back on track and he was supported by Al Roden (24no).
Cookley are on a high after their historic win over Birmingham League outfit Astwood Bank in the previous round.
Meanwhile, clubs in the district were left frustrated by heavy rain which washed out all games on Saturday.
