STOURPORT thrashed Old Vigornians by 10 wickets in a one-sided affair to take them to second in the Worcestershire League Division Three.

Having won the toss OV's surprisingly elected to bat and were looking comfortable at 63-2.

The introduction of leg spinner Matthew Delo dramatically changed the game returning excellent figures of 6-34 from 10 overs.

Three wickets from Gavin Bryan helped reduce OV's to 98 all out.

In reply, Spencer Colley smashed the Vigornians' attack to all parts of the ground on his way to 80 not out. Solid support from Michael Pratt (11 not out) saw Stourport to victory in the 15th over.

This, Saturday Stourport travel to Tenbury Wells.

The seconds got back to winning ways as they comfortably eased passed Rushwick in their Division One encounter.

Skipper Mark Guest (4-34) helped restrict Rushwick to 172-9 from their 50 overs.

In reply, the inform duo of Ethan Lockwood (62no) and Mitch Dwyers (62) saw Stourport to victory in the 36th over.

Stourport thirds lost out to West Malvern.

Batting first, Stourport were bowled out for 128.

In reply, West Malvern took 46 overs to reach the winning target for the loss of five wickets.

The fourths are top of Division Fivr as the cruised to an eight wicket victory against West Malvern seconds.
