MATT Pardoe struck an unbeaten century as Worcestershire won their fourth Second XI Trophy South Division match of the season with a seven-wicket triumph over rivals Warwickshire.

Pardoe plundered 102 not out off 128 balls, including 10 fours and two sixes, as the County successfully chased down their target in 47.3 overs after Warwickshire posted 277-4 at Kenilworth Wardens.

There was one wicket each for Charlie Morris, Graeme Cessford, Ross Whiteley and Shaaiq Choudhry after Warwickshire won the toss and opted to bat.

Sam Hain led the way for the hosts with an unbeaten 124 featuring six fours and four sixes, while Freddie Coleman made 75 before he was caught by Alex Milton off Morris.

In reply, Richard Oliver (55) and Gareth Andrew (50) both made half-centuries in helping Pardoe see the visitors home.

Alexei Kervezee added 33 and Brett D’Oliveira finished on 18 not out for Worcestershire.
