FRANCHE piled on the pressure at the top of Division One in the Kidderminster and District Midweek Bowling League this week, they beat their nearest rivals St Johns A by 19 shots. These two teams are now in line to take first and second place in the league leadership crown.
Kinver B had a mighty 65 shot win on their home green against Ombersley A while Bewdley A were also successful in Stourport beating SW Warriors by 15 shots.
In week 16 of the season, Franche D also maintain their position at the top of Division Two with a win at Bewdley.
Cookley A had a very successful week with a substantial 52 shots win at home against Stourport D.
Kinver C were the giant killers at the top Division Three, beating the division leaders Oldington C by three shots on the Kinver green.
Cookley D also had a successful week with a 27 shots home win.
There was great success at Stourport where the C team triumphed at home by 64 shots against Little Lakes.
Franche C and Kinver A are still battling it out at the top of Division Four.
Franche C had a resounding home win while Kinver A took a 19 shots away win from Ombersley B.
Rain played havoc with the Thursday League these games will be rearranged.
