ROD Brown has said he has no problem with midfielder Michael McGrath, who joined Alvechurch last week.
The Stourport Swifts manager waived the seven-day bid from their Midlands Football League Premier rivals and allowed him to depart.
Brown also drafted in centre forward Jermaine Clarke from the Lye Meadow outfit.
Brown said: “I have no problem with Michael, he goes with my blessing.
“We disagreed over how the game should be played.
“But I was able to draft in Jermaine. who has played for me at Redditch and Bromsgrove.
“He’s missed a few games but is a big, strong guy who will put pressure on defenders.”
Brown was disappointed by Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to leaders Basford.
Swifts were not at their best and they shot down by goals for brothers Lee and Stuart Hendrie.
“There were a lot of performances were six, it wasn’t quite good enough and I was disappointed by that.”
Stourport have an away match at struggling Brocton on Saturday (3pm ko).
