STOURPORT Ladies are still looking for their first victory of the season after they lost 2-1to Olton and West Warkwickshire in the Investec Western Women’s National League.

Nicola Moss had bagged a first half leveller but a second goal for Kate Brough shot them down, despite a host of saves by keeper Lucy Tolladay.

They are at home to ISCA in the league on Saturday.

Stourport’s seconds battled back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against Worcester in the Midlands Division Two.

The match began fairly evenly with Worcester taking the lead from a penalty corner. The visitors then scored a second goal before the break.

Stourport heads never dipped and they fought hard in the second half and got their reward.

Fran Moss hit a deflected shot in and then then converted a penalty flick to earn a share of the spoils.

In Worcestershire League Division One, the thirds were too strong for Tenbury and ran out 3-1 winners as Fran Moss, Katie Walker and Keeley Hawkes hit the back of the net.

Pauline Knott bagged a brace as the fourths defeated the fifths 5-2 in Division Two.

Bethany Neilson, Hannah Yates and Charlotte Lickman also scored, while a deflected shot from Rosie Connolly was just a consolation effort for the fourths.

They welcome Chesterfield to the Kingsway, Stourport (1.45 start) and will be looking to secure another three points in their campaign The seconds, thirds and fourths recorded 5-3, 2-0 and 3-0 wins respectively over Bridgnorth’s other sides on a successful weekend for the men’s teams.
