Rising Sun B's Arthur Granger helped inflict a 7-0 whitewash of Wribbenhall A in the Banks's Bewdley Darts League.
That result also saw Sun B gain three bonus points to move top of the Foley Vehicle Hire shadow league over rivals Bowling Club.
League leaders Bliss Gate may have sewn up the title race after their win over second-placed Waggon & Horses B with a crushing 5-2 victory which now gives Gate a nine-point cushion at the top of the league.
Wribbenhall Social B captain Dave Edwards could be in line for the top darter of the season after clocking the highest checkout of the season with his 161 outshot (treble 20, treble 17, bull).
Results: Waggon A 6 Black Boy Hotel 1; WSCB 6 Red Lion B 1; Great Western 2 Waggon & Horses 5; Rising Sun B 7 WSCA 0; Rising Sun A 5 Bewdley Bowling 2; Bliss Gate 5 Waggon B 2; Red Lion A 6 Black Boy 1.
League action takes a rest this week in favour of the doubles competition. Games start at 8.30 pm.
