GOLF: Dave Gordon won Cleobury Mortimer GC’s Double Roll-up competition with a score of 45 points.
Bryan Colley continued his fine form with 39 points, Lee Glasby also matched this score in the worst of the weather on Sunday. Colley’s superior back count gave him third place.
Ross Moorecroft, who has been close to a good score for a number of weeks, posted 40 points. This great score would normally have won the game but this week was only good enough for second place.
The weekend belonged to Dave Gordon who was once again in his colourful trousers playing superbly well to shoot 45 points.
Director of golf Dave Pain said: “It is great to see the competition numbers so high and some great golf being played this winter.
“The top four players this week all have huge potential for a big 2015 and it is great to see a nice mix of handicaps picking up prizes.”
Final standings: 1 Dave Gordon - 45 points; 2 Ross Moorecroft - 40pts; 3 Bryan Colley - 39pts (CB); 4 Lee Glasby - 39pts.
