STOURPORT Ladies finished their third consecutive season in the National League with a 2-2 draw at third-placed Gloucester City.

Goals for Sarah Cavendish and Lora Symonds saw the Wyre Forest outfit take the lead twice, only for the hosts to hit back each time.

In the end, Stourport finished the season third from bottom but with a five-point lead over the sides in the relegation zone.

The had recovered well from a testing start to the season to be one of the form sides in the second half of the campaign.

Meanwhile, ladies Thirds ended their season with a 4-1 victory over their visitors Harborne Fourths.

Despite being bottom of the table, Harborne gave a good account of themselves, but it was the home side that capitalised on the chances created in the circle.

Emma Pollock was in unstoppable form as she plundered all four goals as their place in Worcestershire Division One was secured.

Stourport Ladies Fourths played a double-header in Division Two and lost 2-1 against Worcester Thirds on Saturday, with Hannah Yates on target, and thrashed Old Hales 11-2.

Pollock (5), Katie Walker (3), Hazel Claris (2), and Kate Bailey were all on target.

In Division Three, the Sixths defeated Worcester 4-0 thanks to goals for Lucy Tolliday, Teri Baron (2) and Hazel Claris.

Stourport Fifths went down 9-0 against impressive Droitwich Stourport.

The Men’s first team, who had already secured the Midlands Division One title, battled out a 2-2 draw against Worcester.

In a poor display, goals from Phil Baldwin and Dan Petrie saw them take the lead twice only to be pegged back.

The Seconds got the better of Stratford 5-3, as Chris Hoare, Matt Derbyshire and hat-trick hero Adam Leeke hit the target.

It was 1-1 between the Fourths and Cannock, as Stourport came from behind thanks to a goal for Jimmy Harris.
