GOALSCORING hero and star-of-the-season Mark Creighton was told by manager Mark Yates to "carry everybody to Wembley on your shoulders."
The former Redditch defender chose the perfect time to open his Kidderminster account when he swung the tie back in Harriers' favour.
And his boss revealed that Creighton was his man-of-the-match with his priceless first goal and dominant defensive display.
"I've been on to him and it's about time he scored to be honest," said Yates, swigging a celebratory tin of lager.
"Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
"I said to him before the game if it takes Mark Creighton to carry everbody on your shoulders and get us to Wembley, make sure we do it.
"He's done the hard bit by scoring and he was immense again as were many others.
"But I think the fact he's 6ft 4ins, wins every header, he's decent on the ground and thinks he's a good lucking so-and-so, he does stand out.
"I thought he was excellent."
