KIDDERMINSTER Lions under-11s are cock-a-hoop after a triumphant silverware winning season.

The team have succeed in a unique double winning the prestigious Stourbridge League Division One and the Stourbridge League Merit Shield.

Many of the players have been together since the age of five where they were coached and developed at Kidderminster Lions Soccer School by Adrian Billings and Managed by Adrian Bishop.

Over the last three years they have won the Stourbridge League Division Three, secured promotion from Division Two as well bagging a league and cup double during the 2014-15 season.

Billings said: "The success has come from all the hard work that everyone has put in here and I thank our sponsors Lumsdons Solicitors of Stourport, Romsley Country Stores and the help we received from Morrisons in Kidderminster.

"We use the excellent facilities at the King Charles I School to train on and the coaching is second to none.

"With involvement also from the Worcester FA, we now have players from Stourbridge and as far as Birmingham who have wanted to learn and develop with us."
