CRICKET-keen girls have the chance to play at Worcestershire’s county ground during next month’s England versus Australia Ladies game, with training at KVCC.
A county coach is putting on softball coaching sessions at the Chester Road ground on the club’s training night, starting on Monday (June 29), to introduce girls, aged seven to 13, to the game and prepare them for their New Road debut on Sunday July 26.
It is hoped the programme will lead to the setting up of a permanent girls’ team based at Kidderminster.
Interested girls should come to the ground on Monday at 6pm or call KVCC junior chairman Sarah Beadsworth on 07841 502535.
