KIDDERMINSTER Victoria thirds recorded a fine win at home against Worcestershire Division Four leaders Kempsey.

Batting first, KVCC scored 263-5 off their allotted 50 overs with James Williams (75 not out), Aaron Dickens (53) and Paul Edwards (52) all making good contributions.

In reply, Kempsey were dismissed for 194 in the 41st over with KVCC’s opening bowlers, Jack Hudson (4-51) and Ryan Wheldon (3-44) the main wicket takers.

In Division Three, the fourths continued their good run with a comfortable win at Chaddesley Corbett. KVCC batted first scoring 303-4 off their 50 overs.

The innings was dominated by Brad James who top-scored with 154 not out with James Smith (52) and James Rawlings (47) also among the runs.

Chaddesley were all out for 162 in the 39th over with Adam Davis taking 3-39.

In Division Seventh South, KVCC fifths lost to Worcester by nine wickets.

KVCC scored 207-8 off their 45 overs with Leon Burke top-scoring with 49.

Worcester knocked the runs off in the 30th over for the loss of just one wicket.
