Stourport Swifts 4 Westfields 2
STOURPORT Swifts survived a scare last night against Westfields, but came through thanks to a hat trick from on fire striker Ben Maund.
Swifts took a flyer and went 2 -0 up inside seven minutes thanks to Maund twice being on the spot to finish.
But Westfields had other ideas and were back on terms before half time thanks to a Craig Jones penalty after Hickman needlessly brought down Jamie Cuss in the box, and Zak Sirrell drilling home a smart shot past Richards in the 37th minute.
The second half saw Westfields pushing hard for a winner, and Richards twice saved well from Jones and Matt Reeve.
In the 74th minute Swifts were awarded a free kick 25 yards out and Maund completed his hat trick with a fierce shot into the top corner off the underside of the bar.
In the dying seconds substitute Jack Rogers beat Westfields keeper Sam Lewis to a through ball and calmly slotted home the fourth.
