HARRIERS have signed striker Harry White from Barnsley for an initial one-month period.

His career began alongside his studies in the United States, where he scored goals aplenty before doing the same back on these shores with Banbury and, latterly, Gloucester City.

His form there in the second half of last season saw him net nine goals in 17 starts, catching the eye of a number of Football League scouts.

Barnsley won the race to land his signature on August transfer deadline day, with the youngster making the move to Oakwell and making his senior debut in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie with Bradford City.

He’s remained in the Tykes’ first-team picture and was an unused substitute in their League 1 win at Swindon this past weekend.

He’ll be available to Colin Gordon to make a Harriers debut when the reds travel to Boreham Wood this weekend (Sat, 3pm).
