KIDDERMINSTER Cricket Club’s under 11s enjoyed a comprehensive win against Feckenham in a pairs game.

The home side made a net score of 236, losing 6 wickets. In reply KCC lost just one wicket with a net score of 315.

Pick of the bowlers was Gregor Stuart 4 for 4 in 3 overs and best bat was Sam Shaverin with 19 runs.

The u12s won the toss against Astwood Bank and put them into bat, restricting them to 100 runs, Archie Derrick taking two wickets on his club debut.

Kidderminster chased the total down with 3 overs to spare losing just two wickets, highlights being Sam Shaverin making 22 runs off 23 balls and Cameron Billings retiring on 30.

The u15s played Alvechurch and Hopwood winning by 88 runs, scoring 143 for 5 and bowling the opposition out for 54.

Joe Miszkowski retired on 50 and Oli Davenport was unlucky to be run out for 21. Lewis O’Brien picked up three wickets for six runs to finish the match off.

The u11s lost to Ombersley in their cup competition by 30 runs despite Sam Shaverin retiring on 30 and the u12s lost by a single run to Bewdley who scored 109 runs, with Byron Hignell-Halford retiring on 31.

Meanwhile, in the “spirit of the game” Romsley and Hunnington leant a depleted u14 KCC side two fielders on Tuesday.

KCC restricted the home team to 71 runs for 6 off 20 overs.

No additional batsmen were needed, as openers Matt Hatfield (20 n.o) and Joe Miszkowski (42 n.o) knocked off the total in 10 overs.
