KIDDERMINSTER Under-13s had a strong week as they won three matches.

They started with a success against Chaddesley Corbett, who made a net score of 177 from their 16 overs.

Ryan Clifford took a five-wicket haul, while Rhydian White took the impressive figures of 3-3 from two overs.

In reply, Kidderminster scored 127-3 for a net score of 312. Rhodri Morson was the pick of the batsmen scoring 41 from 16 balls, while Dylan Griffiths and Finley Tibbets contributed with 15 and 12 respectively.

Against Hagley, KCC bowled their opposition out for 59 with Dylan Griffiths taking 4-6 from and Matt Hatfield 2-10. Kidderminster knocked the runs off in seven overs for the loss of two wickets.

James Massey top-scored with an unbeaten 30 in an innings featuring two boundaries and three maximums, while Sam Butler also helped Kidderminster over the line with 16 not out.

Finally, Kidderminster defeated Stourbridge by 64 runs in a 40-over game.

KCC batted first scoring a competitive total of 157-5. The runs were shared around with Sam Butler scoring 42, Morson 31, Finley Tibbetts 22 and Dylan Griffiths 21 not out.

Kidderminster then bowled Stourbridge for 93 thanks largely to Griffiths’ five-wicket haul.

The under-11s also had a strong week, winning two games and losing one.

First came a 27-run defeat to Barnt Green, with Kidderminster unable to surpass their rivals’ net score of 281.

Following this was a comprehensive 63-run victory over Avoncroft.

Kidderminster scored an impressive 150-4 from their 20 overs. Josh Whittal and Tom Powell both retired on 30 and 33 respectively, while Liam Jones got the innings off to a good start with 15.

Kidderminster then restricted Avoncroft to 87.

The under-11s saw Worcester Dominies concede their match, while the under-12s won their only game this week, defeating Droitwich by 27 runs.
