SUPER SUB Liam Truslove struck twice as Harriers came from behind to draw 3-3 at Alfreton.

After a seven-day period that yielded six points from six, a place in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round and eleven goals without reply, it was unsurprising that there weren't many changes to the side going into this contest.

John Eustace opted for just the one switch, with fit-again James McQuilkin restored to his role in the starting eleven in place of utility player Ashley Carter who dropped back to the bench.

The start to this one was arguably as far from previous performances as you could expect - inside eleven minutes Harriers had looked a long, long way from comfort as they uncharacteristically conceded two goals. Both were avoidable, the first coming inside sixty seconds as a ball which Harriers failed to clear was returned into the area with a low cross that Craig Westcarr finished from close-range.

The second arrived around ten minutes later but was equal in its frustration as Tom Allan found the back of the net simply by rising highest in the area to power home a corner.

Chances for Gnahoua and Waite at least edged the team into the game a little, McQuilkin on 33 minutes then striking off target as the ball fell to his feet inside the area.

But Harriers would be made to pay for not making more of those chances when, robbed of the ball once again, they were beaten for a third time as Priestley, rounding his man in the area, rolled the ball past Hornby with the home faithful in dreamland.

Eustace through on Truslove at the interval and it was a move that paid almost immediate dividends as he reduced the deficit with a lashed finished beyond Spiess for his third goal of the campaign.

Gnahoua and Waite kept peppering the goal around the hour mark with further chances that Spiess handled well, Truslove then drawing the goalkeeper into yet another good save with his free kick as we entered the last ten minutes.

That's when Harriers kicked into overdrive - in an incredible turnaround they netted two goals in two minutes to seal a point and, after that, almost win it. Lowe almost snatched the unlikely victory only to fire over the bar, after Andre Brown and coolly slotted past the dive of Spiess and Brown, getting his first goal for Harriers, also showed great composure to find the back of the net.
