COACH Matt Gardiner has praised "ruthless" Harriers after their victory over Gainsborough Trinity.

Kidderminster returned to winning ways with a 3-0 success at Aggborough thanks to goals from Arthur Gnahora, Elton Ngwatala and Tyrell Waite.

Harriers handed first starts to Andre Brown and Sam Austin as they looked to hit back after recent cup and league defeats.

Gardiner said: "You look at the average age of the team today and there are two 19 year olds starting, so to put on the performance in the manner we did and get the result we did, we're obviously very pleased.

"We were clinical and ruthless. I thought we scored some good goals. But that was an important three points today because they are a good team.

"I think professional is a good word to use. I think we can do better in certain areas but the boys have been clinical and managed the ball well in the right areas. We could maybe move it quicker but they've done well.

"Also, on the back of four tough away games, we got back at Aggborough after a month. After Halifax and Blackpool before that it is great to get back and the lads have reacted very well, so obviously we're really pleased and it's good to get the three points.

"We took the chances at the right time and managed the game. They're learning all the time so to reacted the way they did after those two defeats is very encouraging.

"We're happy but our minds now turn to the next game on Tuesday against Gloucester straight away.

"They have grown and built, have got some good players so it will be a good footballing contest. It's a tough game so we'll have to be properly prepared."
