HARRIERS have completed the signing of attacker Daniel Nti after he left National League side York City.

The powerful 6ft former Worcester City man, most proficient out wide, has signed a deal at Aggborough that runs until the end of the 2017/18 season.

The 23-year-old was snapped up by Worcester back in 2013 after a prolific spell with Loughborough University.

He remained firmly in the goals whilst with City, notching double figures across each of the three seasons he was with the club, claiming a place in the National League North Team of the Year.

A fine record of 44 goals in 130 starts for Worcester prompted York to snap up his signature this summer and even amid a change of management and a spell out on loan at FC Halifax, Nti has still managed 16 starts and one goal in this term’s National League.

This signing has been made possible thanks to donations by Harriers fans to the Give It 100% Campaign, and speaking after signing his deal, Nti himself was quick to thank those involved.

“It is great support – I’ve heard about this and they have helped me get here," he commented.

“I’m just grateful to the fans. Hopefully I can bring them some great memories and score some goals for the team.”
