STOUPORT Swifts have taken a massive step towards Midland Football League Premier Division safety with successive league wins.
Swifts backed up last Tuesday's success over Brocton by beating Boldmere St Michaels 3-1 away last Saturday.
A double from Joe Phillips and a late third from Aaron Lloyd handed them a vital three points to lift them up to 16th.
Their fine form continued on Tuesday as they beat Malvern 1-0 in Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup.
They will turn their attention back to their league survival fight this Saturday when they go to Heanor Town.
Meanwhile, in the West Midlands Premier Division, Bewdley took their unbeaten league run to six games.
Phil Mullen's men followed up last Saturday's 4-0 win at Wellington Amateurs by beating Wolverhampton Sporting Casuals 7-4 on Tuesday night.
Their busy schedule sees them host Smethwick on Thursday night before welcoming Wolverhampton Casuals this Saturday.
